Motocross Gifts: Toys for Young Kids

  • Playmobil Stunt Show Motocross & Service Tent: This is a super cool toy for kids that love motocross! Kids will love the excitement of the motocross stunt show as well as all of the accessories that come with the service tent. For example, you get a “canopy”, bike stand, gas can, tool box with tools, motor oil, fire extinguisher and more!

💰 PRICE: $15.64 (Stunt Show) / $25.90 (Service Tent)

  • Strider Balance Bike: Strider bikes are a great gift for any young child. Balance bikes serve as a great introduction to two wheels. Personally, my kids never had to use training wheels with pedal bikes after starting on a Strider. They’re offered in a variety of colors and are definitely durable.

💰 PRICE: $104.49

  • Turbospoke Bicycle Exhaust System: If the child in your life rides a 14-24″ bicycle, the Turbospoke is a really cool motocross related gift to think about. It implements the old school “card in the spokes” concept to produce realistic motorcycle sounds. The toy is waterproof, requires no batteries and comes with cool stickers to decorate the exhaust.

💰 PRICE: $24.99

  • Motomatz: Motomatz is an awesome toy any moto kid would love to have. My family has actually had this toy for several years. It’s durable, easily portable and great fun for the kids. Furthermore, add a little dirt or sand on the track for more realistic play. It’s easy cleanup too.

💰 PRICE: $189.95

  • Nitro Circus Playset: The Nitro Circus Playset is a lot of fun for kids who races or love anything with wheels. The set comes with a side x side, dirt bike, BMX bike, skateboard, ramps and figurine. We’ve personally had this product as well and the kids give it thumbs up!

💰 PRICE: $37.55

  • Razor Dirt Rocket: The Razor Dirt Rocket is an electric toy motocross bike. This was what both of our kids got as their first “dirt bike”. It was very useful in teaching them how to balance and use the throttle at the same time. I’m not going to recommend an age for this bike (that’s the manufacturer’s job), but my kids easily rode them at 2-3 years old. One thing I will vouch for this product is that it is definitely durable (and it comes with training wheels).

💰 PRICE: $259.99

  • Plasma Car: The Plasma Car isn’t really motocross related but it is a great toy. My kids are very destructive when it comes to toys. This toy lasted long enough for them both to enjoy it. Actually it’s still in great shape! The child sits on the toy and moves the steering wheel back and forth to move around. Even big kids can ride around on it.

💰 PRICE: $69.99

💰 PRICE: Varies – Approximately $20.00 – 40.00

  • Moto Themed Metal Signs – Metal signs offer a great way for your motocross enthusiast to decorate his/her space. They’re heavy duty and usually have a catchy message!

  • RC Car – RC cars are a total hit in our household. My kids have all sorts of different remote control vehicles. Our favorite brand is Traxxas as they are very durable and go really fast! Although some RC cars can be very expensive, there are many that are reasonably priced.

  • Motocross Blanket or Other Custom Items – If you’ve checked your Facebook groups lately, you’ve probably noticed one if not several of your friends are selling custom items. Whether it be a blanket, shirt or coffee mug, you can pretty much get anything customized. Etsy is another great place to look for handmade and/or custom items.

💰 PRICE: Varies but usually reasonably priced

  • Risk Racing Holeshot Motocross Gate – Any motocross racer in your life would love the Risk Racing Holeshot Motocross Gate. The gate is operated with a wireless signal strap that gets mounted to the handlebars. Simply push the button and the gate will randomly drop. Motocross Gifts: Toys for “Bigger” Kids

  • Cooler – High efficiency coolers are a must when racing motocross. They also make a great gift! These types of coolers come in all different sizes, shapes and colors. We prefer Yeti coolers but there are several other great brands as well.

💰 PRICE: Vary – the model shown above is $399.98

  • Toolbox Loaded With Supplies – Loading a toolbox or bag with tools and supplies is a great gift. Adding items such as shop towels, WD-40, oils, chain and air filter sprays and any other useful items can make the gift even more personalized. If you’re not sure what tools to get, the BOXO MotoBox comes equipped with the tools you will need for a day at the track.

Just stumbled onto your site. I’ve been a hardcore motocross racer most of my life, but didn’t actually start until I was 10 in the 85 class. Now that I have a 6 and 4 year old that are both getting ready to start racing, I’m having to learn about the madness that is the 50 class that I’ve always watched from afar. There is tons of great info here. One comment I wanted to make about the “bigger kids” gifts is the toolbox setup. Ive accumulated thousands of dollars worth of tools over the years between working as a mechanic and being an adrenaline junkie that loves everything 2 and 4 wheels. The boxo tool set is probably the most complete and well thought out set I have excerpts seen. That said, you can be better served putting your own kit together. My suggestion would be to look at the tool list in that kit and piece together your own tool set. There’s only a few tools that I consider must haves that are not in that kit, 3/8 torque wrench, spoke torque wrench, a valve core puller, and a bead buddy. There may be a few others but you get the idea. As far as the box and organizeation goes, the Milwaukee pack out system is awesome. Our setup is the wheeled cart that is the oil/shop supply milk crate replacement, and on top of that is the 3 drawer toolbox, that has everything in the boxo set plus more all set in Kaizen foam. It rolls great out of a trailer over rough terrain, and it straps down for storage very well. Sorry for the long message, tools is kind of a side hobby for me and I like to throw out options for people.
